Around 130 million people consider German their native or alternate language and in 2015, it was estimated that14.5 million people were learning German worldwide. German universities are free to attend. A vast amount of scientific literature is published in German. After all, Germany is the land of muses and thinkers! But we wanted to know further about the people learning German. After speaking to nearly 400 German learners, this is what we set up.
